SpeedDroid: Monitor Your Performance Data with Ease
SpeedDroid is a free Android application developed by Dario Finocchiaro that allows you to monitor important data such as current speed, maximum speed, distance, and travel time. This application is categorized under Utilities & Tools and is perfect for users who want to measure their lap times on accelerating.
Once the application is started, it searches for GPS signals. If you are moving or indoors, it may take longer than normal. After the GPS is attached, you can enter the three ranges that you want to monitor and press "Start". The stopwatch will start three seconds after pressing the start button, giving you time to place your device where it is best suited. The three seconds will be divided by three beeps, followed by another that indicates the start of the stopwatch and the recording of performance.
It is important to note that you should not lock the display or change the screen during use, as this will cause the GPS signal to be lost and performance data will not be stored properly. However, you can enable the auto-lock function in the settings to avoid unintentional clicks. You can also change the unit of measurement (km/h-Mph-m/s-fps) and view a history of your performance.
